## Biography

Katie Jacobs is an American television producer and director. She began her career in film production in the early 1990s, working as associate producer on *29th Street* (1991), co-producer on *Consenting Adults* (1992), and producer on *Fatal Instinct* (1993) and *Getting Even with Dad* (1994).

Jacobs co-founded the production company Heel & Toe Films with screenwriter Paul Attanasio. She served as executive producer on the Fox series *House* (2004–2012) and *Century City* (2004), and made her directorial debut on *House*, directing several episodes between 2007 and 2009. She has also directed episodes of *Nurse Jeffrey* (2010) and *Damnation* (2018). *House* received four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series during her tenure.
