## Biography

Katie Swinden is a British television producer. She began her career in script development, working as a script reader at Thames Television and a script editor at the BBC before becoming a producer on series including *Spooks* (also known as *MI-5*).

She produced series one and two of *Luther* (2010–2011) for BBC One and the first series of *Peaky Blinders* (2013) for BBC Two. Other credits include the single drama *Marvellous* (2014) and executive producer roles on *Guerrilla* (2017) and *The Eddy* (2020). She has also produced later series of *Peaky Blinders*.

In 2014 Swinden received the ENVY Producer Award at the Women in Film and Television Awards. She is Joint Managing Director at Fifty Fathoms Productions, a label under Tiger Aspect.
