She is known for creating and starring in the ITV2 sketch series *Katy Brand's Big Ass Show* (2007–2009), for which she won a British Comedy Award. Acting credits include *Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang* (2010) as Miss Turvey and *Peep Show* (2003) as Lucy.
