Kayla Alpert is a writer and producer. She began her career as a staff writer on the sketch show *All That* in 1994. Her film and television credits include the screenplay for *Confessions of a Shopaholic* (2009) and episodes of *Wednesday* (2022–), *Emily in Paris* (2020), *Code Black* (2015–2017) and *Ally McBeal* (1997–2002). She has worked as an executive producer on *Wednesday*.

Alpert attended Greenwich Academy and Harvard University. She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as an executive producer on *Wednesday*.
