Keala Settle is an American actress and singer. Born on 5 November 1975 in Laie, Hawaii, she is a graduate of Kahuku High School and an alumna of Southern Utah University. She began her career in national tours including *Hairspray* and *South Pacific* before making her Broadway debut in *Priscilla, Queen of the Desert* (2011).

Settle originated the role of Norma Valverde in *Hands on a Hardbody* (2013), earning nominations for the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She was in the original Broadway cast of *Waitress* (2016) as Becky. In film she played Lettie Lutz in *The Greatest Showman* (2017), performing the song "This Is Me", which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and received an Academy Award nomination. She appears as Miss Coddle in *Wicked* (2024) and *Wicked: For Good* (2025).
