## Biography

Keefe Brasselle (born Henry Keefe Brasselle) was an American actor, producer and author. He appeared in more than thirty films, beginning with uncredited roles in the mid-1940s.

He is best known for playing Earl Eastman in *A Place in the Sun* (1951) and for the title role in *The Eddie Cantor Story* (1953). Other film credits include *T-Men* (1947), *Never Fear* (1949) and *Black Gunn* (1972). On television he appeared in series such as *Adam-12* (1968) and produced *The Cara Williams Show* (1964).

Brasselle later wrote the novels *The CanniBalls* (1968) and *The Barricudas* (1973). He died in Downey, California, in 1981.
