Keiichi Sugiyama is a Japanese animation director born on 1 January 1965. He served as episode director on *Neon Genesis Evangelion* (1995), handling episodes 5 and 7, and contributed storyboards to episode 7.

Sugiyama directed the feature film *Origin: Spirits of the Past* (2006) and episodes of series including *Saber Marionette J* (1996), *Najica Blitz Tactics* (2001), *The Twelve Kingdoms* (2002) and *Dinosaur King* (2007–2008).
