## Biography

Keiko Nobumoto was a Japanese screenwriter. She wrote the screenplay for the film *Tokyo Godfathers* (2003) and served as series composition writer on the anime series *Cowboy Bebop* (1998), for which she also wrote multiple episodes.

She created the series *Wolf's Rain* (2003) and contributed to *Cowboy Bebop: The Movie* (2001), *Samurai Champloo* (2004), *Space Dandy* (2014) and *Carole & Tuesday* (2019). Nobumoto began her career after winning the Fuji TV Young Scenarist Award and collaborated frequently with director Shinichirō Watanabe, including on *Macross Plus* (1994).
