## Biography

Keith Grant was a British recording engineer and sound technician. He began his career in the late 1950s and became a mainstay at Olympic Studios in London, where he worked with numerous rock and pop artists before specialising in orchestral and film scoring.

Grant is credited as music recordist on *The Madness of King George* (1994). His other film work includes sound on *Jesus Christ Superstar* (1973), for which he shared a BAFTA Award, and music department roles on *Never Say Never Again* (1983), *The Fly* (1986) and *Ed Wood* (1994). He received a BAFTA Gold Badge of Merit in 1997 and other industry honours.

Grant was born on 16 February 1941 in Norfolk, England, and died on 18 June 2012 in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey.
