## Biography

Keith Josef Adkins is an American playwright and screenwriter. He has written for television series including *Outer Banks* (2020), for which he received story and teleplay credits, *The Good Fight* (2017), *P-Valley* (2020) as executive story editor, and *Accused* (2023). His earlier television work includes episodes of *Girlfriends* (2002–2004).

Adkins is also a playwright whose works include *The West End*, which had its world premiere at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and was a finalist for the 2022 Steinberg-ATCA New Play Award, and *Safe House*. He is the artistic director of The New Black Fest and has received the Helen Merrill Playwriting Award and Samuel French’s Award for Impact and Activism in the Theater Community.
