## Biography

Keith Partridge is a British cinematographer specialising in adventure and extreme-location filming. He trained and worked as a cameraman at the BBC in Newcastle before leaving staff employment in the early 1990s to pursue independent work combining mountaineering and cinematography.

Partridge provided cinematography for the 2003 documentary film *Touching the Void*, directed by Kevin Macdonald. His other credits include episodes of the BBC series *Human Planet* (2011), for which he received an International Emmy, and films such as *Bonington: Mountaineer* (2017), which he also directed. He has worked on dozens of climbing and exploration documentaries shot in remote locations worldwide.
