## Biography

Keith Temple is a British screenwriter. Born in Newcastle, England, he has written for a range of British television series including *EastEnders*, *Casualty*, *Emmerdale*, *Doc Martin* and *Byker Grove*. He also wrote the 2006 BBC drama *Angel Cake*.

Temple wrote the *Doctor Who* episode *Planet of the Ood*, broadcast in 2008. He has contributed short stories and a comic to Doctor Who publications and novelised the episode for Target Books in 2023. He lectures on screenwriting at Drama Centre London and Hereford College of Arts.
