Kelly Ward is an American actor, voice director and writer. Born on 17 November 1956 in San Diego, California, he began his career with roles in the television film *The Boy in the Plastic Bubble* (1976) and episodes of series including *CHiPs*, *The Waltons* and *M*A*S*H*.

He is best known for playing Putzie in the film *Grease* (1978). Other screen credits include *The Big Red One* (1980) and *Magnum, P.I.*. Ward largely ceased on-camera acting after 1983 and moved into animation, writing and producing features such as *Once Upon a Forest* (1993) and *All Dogs Go to Heaven 2* (1996), and serving as a voice director for Disney Television Animation series.

He has taught musical theatre at the University of Southern California.
