## Biography

Ken Ledsham was a British production designer who worked extensively for the BBC from the 1960s onwards. He is credited as production designer on the 1990 BBC mini-series *House of Cards*, as well as its sequels *To Play the King* (1993) and *The Final Cut* (1995).

His other notable credits include production design on episodes of *Doctor Who* (including *Destiny of the Daleks* in 1979 and *The King’s Demons* in 1983), *Blake’s 7* and *Tenko*. He received two BAFTA nominations for his work. Ledsham was born in 1943 in Wallasey, Merseyside, and died in July 2025.
