## Biography

Ken Place is an American actor. He is known for his role as Peter the Cop in the 1983 film *The Big Chill* and as Beckwith in *More American Graffiti* (1979).

He appeared in two films that also featured his sister, actress Mary Kay Place. His other credits include the role of Drummer in *Raise the Titanic* (1980) and television appearances in *Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman* (1976–1977) and *Search for Tomorrow* (1985).
