## Biography

Ken Topolsky is an American television producer, director and music production manager. He began his career as a music production manager for Phil Ramone, working with artists including Billy Joel and Simon & Garfunkel, and served as music co-ordinator on the 1983 film *Flashdance*.

Topolsky moved into television production with credits including *Bates Motel* (1987) and *The Wizard* (1989). He produced *The Wonder Years* (1988–1993) and directed thirteen episodes of the series, earning shared Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1990 and 1991. He later served as executive producer and directed episodes of *Party of Five* (1994–2000).

Subsequent credits include executive producing and directing on *Dallas* (2012–2014), and co-executive producing on *1883* (2021) and *1923* (2022). He has also showrun series such as *MDs*, *Clubhouse* and *Scoundrels*.
