## Biography

Kenny Chin is an actor. Born on 5 April 1951 in Hong Kong, he began studying martial arts at the age of 12 and appeared in Hong Kong films in the 1960s after being discovered by a casting agent while at school. He later moved to New York City with his family.

After a career in computing as a programmer and analyst, during which he also taught Kung Fu, Chin returned to acting. His first paid acting role was a background part in the 2005 film *The Interpreter*. He has since appeared in films including *Mancation* (2012) and *Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)* (2014), in which he played the Korean Grocer. On television he has had roles in the web series *The Fever* (2015–2017) and *Evil* (2019), as well as other credits such as *Chapter & Verse* (2016) and *We Are Living Things* (2021). He is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
