Kent James (1937–2016) was an American costume designer and wardrobe supervisor who worked in film and television. He is credited on *The Long Goodbye* (1973) for men's costumes.

His other credits include wardrobe work on *The Godfather Part II* (1974) and costume supervision on *The Specialist* (1994) and *Small Soldiers* (1998). He also designed costumes for *Condorman* (1981). James died in Burbank, California.
