## Biography

Kent Osborne is an American writer, storyboard artist and director working primarily in animation. He served as a writer and storyboard director on *SpongeBob SquarePants* (1999) from 2002 to 2005 and contributed to the screenplay and story for *The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie* (2004). He has also written for *Adventure Time* (2010), *Phineas and Ferb* (2007) and other series including *Camp Lazlo* and *The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack*.

Osborne received two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on *Adventure Time*, in 2015 and 2017, along with multiple further nominations. He is the older brother of film director Mark Osborne. He has additionally acted in independent films such as *Uncle Kent* (2011) and *All the Light in the Sky* (2012).
