Kermit Murdock (20 March 1908 – 11 February 1981) was an American actor who worked in film, television and radio. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he appeared in character roles on stage, including Broadway productions such as *No More Frontier* (1931), *The Strong Are Lonely* (1953) and *More Stately Mansions* (1967).

His film credits include Dean Pollard in *Splendor in the Grass* (1961), Henderson in *In the Heat of the Night* (1967), Hoyt III in *On a Clear Day You Can See Forever* (1970) and Dr. Robertson in *The Andromeda Strain* (1971). On television he played the prosecutor in the *Star Trek* episode "All Our Yesterdays" (1969) and appeared in series including *The Defenders*, *Kung Fu*, *The Mary Tyler Moore Show* and *The Mod Squad*. He also performed voice work on the radio series *X Minus One*.
