## Biography

Kevin Kliesch is an American composer and orchestrator. Born on 15 October 1970 in Teaneck, New Jersey, he graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

He has worked as an orchestrator on more than 100 feature films, including *Tangled* (2010), *Frozen* (2013), *The Hangover* (2009) and *Shrek Forever After* (2010). Kliesch later composed scores for animated projects such as *ThunderCats* (2011) and Disney series including *Sofia the First* (2012–2018) and *Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure* (2017–2020).

His work on *Sofia the First* earned him a Daytime Emmy Award in 2015, along with multiple further Emmy and Annie Award nominations.
