## Biography

Kevin McKnight is a cinematographer and director of photography. He studied filmmaking at the Art Center College of Design and began his career shooting travel documentaries before working on hundreds of national television commercials in the 1990s.

He later transitioned to narrative work, serving as a second-unit cinematographer on feature films including *Hidalgo* (2004), *Sky High* (2005) and *Killers* (2010). McKnight has been director of photography on television series such as *Shameless* (2013–2018), *Underground*, *The Purge* (2018), *The Outsider* (2020), *Genius: Aretha* (2021) and *Truth Be Told* (2023). He was nominated for an ASC Award for Outstanding Cinematography on the *Underground* pilot episode.
