## Biography

Kevin McManus is an American filmmaker, writer, director and producer who works regularly with his brother Matthew McManus under the credit The McManus Brothers. He graduated with a BFA from Emerson College and began his career with the 2012 feature *Funeral Kings*, which premiered at South by Southwest.

McManus wrote and produced episodes of the Netflix series *American Vandal* (2017), for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series or Movie and a Peabody Award. He contributed story and teleplay credits to two episodes of *Cobra Kai* (2019) and served as consulting producer on the series. With his brother he wrote and directed the 2021 science-fiction horror film *The Block Island Sound* and the 2025 feature *Redux Redux*.
