## Biography

Kim Clements is a Canadian-born American television writer and producer. Born in Montreal and raised in Ontario, she worked as a copywriter in advertising for agencies in Toronto before moving into scriptwriting.

She joined the writing staff of *The Shield* for its second season in 2003 as a staff writer and served as story editor for the third season, contributing to episodes including 'Greenlit' and 'Inferno'. She subsequently worked as executive story editor on the first season of *Lost*, for which the writing team received a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Dramatic Series in 2006.

Clements has written for and produced episodes of series including *The Black Donnellys*, *Wanted*, *Shark*, *Bones*, *CSI: NY*, *Tell Me a Story* and *neXt*. She also wrote and executive produced the 1999 short film *Blind*.
