## Biography

Kim Friedman is an American television director and producer. Her career began with directing around seventy episodes of the sitcom *Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman* for Norman Lear, followed by the pilot and episodes of *Square Pegs*.

She has directed episodes of many series, including *L.A. Law*, *The Love Boat*, *Dynasty*, *A Different World*, *Beverly Hills, 90210*, *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1994–1997), *Star Trek: Voyager* (1995), *Babylon 5* (1996) and *Lizzie McGuire* (2001). In 1988 she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for directing an episode of *L.A. Law*. Friedman has also directed theatre productions in New York and Los Angeles, and in London.
