## Biography

Kim Hong-seon is a South Korean film director, screenwriter and producer. He graduated from Ajou University with a degree in English language and literature and began his career as an assistant director on several television series before making his feature debut with *Traffickers* (2012).

He is known for directing the crime thrillers *The Con Artists* (2014), *The Chase* (2017), *Metamorphosis* (2019) and *Project Wolf Hunting* (2022), for which he also wrote the screenplay. In 2025 he became the first Asian director to lead a season of the British series *Gangs of London*, directing four episodes and serving as executive producer. His debut feature won him the Best New Director award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
