## Biography

Kim Mills was a British television director and producer. Born in London on 22 October 1930, she left school at 14 and began in a Scottish repertory company, where she stage-managed and played small parts before moving into production as an assistant director.

She worked on films including *Inn for Trouble* and *The Giant Behemoth* (1959), then entered television in 1960. In 1962 she was invited by Sidney Newman to direct episodes of *The Avengers* (1961) for ABC Television. Her other directing credits include multiple episodes of *Public Eye* (1965), *Shadows of Fear* (1970), *The Mind of Mr. J.G. Reeder* (1969) and *The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes* (1971). She also produced series such as *Shadows of Fear* and episodes of *Public Eye*.

Mills died in London on 28 August 2006.
