## Biography

Kim Yu-seon (also credited as Kim Yoo-sun or Kim Yu-sun; Korean: 김유선) is a South Korean costume designer. She graduated from Konkuk University’s Department of Costume Design and entered the film industry in 1993 with *Out to the World*, later working on approximately sixty films.

Her credits include *Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors* (2000), *Wanee & Junah* (2001), *Memories of Murder* (2003), *The Red Shoes* (2005), *Children...* (2011), *The Client* (2011), *Killer Toon* (2013), *The Five* (2013), *Cart* (2014), *Lucid Dream* (2017) and *The Vanished* (2018). She operates the costume team Cine & Fashion (CNF) and has taught costume design at several institutions. In 2009 she published the book *Film Costume Design*.

In 2022 she received a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for her contributions to the professionalisation of film costume design in Korea.
