Kirk Taylor is an American actor, acting teacher and musician. Raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in drama and a minor in music.

He is known for his role as Payback in Stanley Kubrick's *Full Metal Jacket* (1987). Other film credits include *Death Wish 3* (1985), *The Last Dragon* (1985), *School Daze* (1988), *The Bonfire of the Vanities* (1990) and *The Sum of All Fears* (2002). Television appearances include episodes of *Law & Order*, *NCIS: Los Angeles* (2011) and *The Chosen* (2019–2025).

Taylor has also performed in stage productions, including the Broadway tour of *Five Guys Named Moe*.
