## Biography

Kirker Butler is an American television writer and producer. He joined the writing staff of the animated series *Family Guy* in 2004 after a spec script reached creator Seth MacFarlane, and has since written and produced numerous episodes. He has also worked as a writer and producer on *The Cleveland Show*, *Galavant*, *Life in Pieces*, *The Neighbors* and *Only Murders in the Building*.

Butler was born on 14 February 1971 in Hartford, Kentucky. He studied at the Barn Theatre in Michigan in 1992 and 1993, and was added to its wall of fame in 2020. He has received Emmy Award nominations for his work on *Family Guy*, *The Cleveland Show* and *Only Murders in the Building*. In March 2026 it was announced that he would co-create the *Family Guy* spin-off series *Stewie* with Seth MacFarlane. He is the author of the novel *Pretty Ugly*.
