Kirsty Child is an Australian actress. She trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, graduating in 1963. Her film credits include *Country Town* (1971) and the role of Miss Dora Lumley in *Picnic at Hanging Rock* (1975).

On television she appeared in multiple roles in the series *Prisoner* between 1979 and 1986, as Anne Yates, Glynis Johnson and Willie Beecham. She played Carmel Tyler in the soap opera *Neighbours* in 2002 and again from 2012 to 2013. Child is the widow of actor Peter Adams, who died in 1999.
