## Biography

Knut Loewe is a German production designer. Born in Bochum on 27 August 1962, he studied architecture and completed a Master of Arts in film and television at the Royal College of Art in London. His early credits include the 1987 film *Katzenjammer Kids*.

Loewe has worked extensively in film and television, with production design credits including *The Wave* (2008), *The Sinking of the Laconia* (2011), *Counterpart* (2017–2019) and *Griselda* (2024). He has lived and worked in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.
