## Biography

Konstantin Feldman was a Russian actor, revolutionary, playwright and film organiser. In 1905 he took part in the mutiny aboard the battleship Potemkin as a delegate from Odessa and later appeared as the Student Agitator in Sergei Eisenstein’s film *Battleship Potemkin* (1925).

He worked in Soviet film production in the 1920s, including roles at Proletkino and as editor at the Odessa film studio, and later as a theatre critic and literary manager at the Theatre of the Revolution. Feldman wrote memoirs of the Potemkin events and died in Moscow in 1968.
