Kōtarō Shiga (also credited as Kotaro Shiga) was a Japanese actor. Born on 31 August 1948 in Hyogo, he died on 20 April 2020 in Kanagawa. He joined the theatre company Seinen-dan in 1990 and later worked as a part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen College of Art.

Shiga appeared in supporting roles in numerous films and television dramas from the late 1990s onwards. He is known for playing Kenji Yamamoto in *After Life* (1998), a taxi driver in *Survive Style 5+* (2004), Teacher Gashi in *The Taste of Tea* (2004), and Nakatsuka in *Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories* (2016). Other credits include *Funky Forest: The First Contact* (2005), *I Give My First Love to You* (2009), *Kiki's Delivery Service* (2014) and the live-action *Gintama* (2017).
