Kristin Newman is a television writer and producer. She began her career in production roles on shows including *Everybody Loves Raymond* and worked as a writer's assistant on *La Femme Nikita* and *Mad About You* before joining the staff of *That '70s Show* (1998), where she rose to supervising producer over seven seasons.

Her writing credits include episodes of *How I Met Your Mother* (2006), *Chuck* (2007), *The Neighbors* (2012), *Galavant* (2015), *The Real O'Neals* (2016), *For the People* (2018) and *Only Murders in the Building* (2021). She has also served as co-executive producer or consulting producer on several of these series. Newman is the author of the memoir *What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding* (2014), which was adapted into a television series.
