## Biography

Kurt Engfehr is an American film editor, producer and director. He worked as a staff Avid editor in New York for HBO, MSNBC and other clients before becoming senior editor on Michael Moore’s television series *The Awful Truth*.

Engfehr edited and co-produced Moore’s documentaries *Bowling for Columbine* (2002), for which he won an American Cinema Editors award for best documentary editing, and *Fahrenheit 9/11* (2004). He co-directed *The Yes Men Fix the World* (2009) and directed and co-wrote *Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead* (2010) and its 2014 sequel.

He is married to filmmaker Elizabeth Marcus.
