## Biography

Kurt Walker is a Canadian filmmaker, director and editor. Born in 1990 in Vancouver, he has made several experimental and documentary features and shorts, including *Hit 2 Pass* (2014), *s01e03* (2020) and *I Thought the World of You* (2022).

He edited Sophy Romvari’s feature debut *Blue Heron* (2025), for which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for achievement in editing. Walker’s own work has screened at festivals including Doclisboa, where *Hit 2 Pass* won the Universities Award, and the Vancouver Film Critics Circle, where it was nominated for best first film by a Canadian director.
