She began working as a professional voice actress as a child. Her credits include the voice of Fufu in *Ni Hao, Kai-Lan* (2009–2010) and additional voices in *We Bare Bears* (2014–2016).

Kowalewski is known for voicing Anais Watterson in *The Amazing World of Gumball* (2011–2019) and its related shorts and spin-offs, Me-Mow in *Adventure Time* (2011–2016), and Trudy in *Buddy: Tech Detective* (2015).
