## Biography

Kyle Jarrow is an American writer and musician. Born on 7 October 1979 in Ithaca, New York, he graduated from Yale University and began his career in theatre.

His early work includes the satirical musical *A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant* (2004), for which he won an Obie Award. He wrote the book for the Broadway musical *The SpongeBob Musical* (2017), receiving Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations. In television he created and executive-produced the series *Valor* (2017).

Jarrow's film credits include *Armless* (2010) and co-writing the screenplay for *Purple Hearts* (2022). He has also written episodes of *Star Trek: Discovery*. He performs with the rock band Sky-Pony alongside his wife, Lauren Worsham.
