## Biography

Kyra Schon is an American actor. She played Karen Cooper in George A. Romero's *Night of the Living Dead* (1968), alongside her father Karl Hardman, who portrayed Harry Cooper.

Born on 4 October 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Schon was nine during filming. She later appeared in *Tortured Soul II: Ike and Mike* (1994) and *The Greenman* (2011), and has taken part in stage adaptations and short films connected to the original horror classic.

Schon also works as an artist and teacher, producing handmade jewellery and pottery.
