Lambert Wilson is a French actor. He was born on 3 August 1958 in Neuilly-sur-Seine and is the son of actor and director Georges Wilson. He studied acting at the Drama Centre in London and has worked in both French and English-language productions.

Wilson is known internationally for playing the Merovingian in *The Matrix Reloaded* (2003), *The Matrix Revolutions* (2003) and *The Matrix Resurrections* (2021). His other credits include *Catwoman* (2004) as George Hedare, *Sahara* (2005) and *Timeline* (2003). He has received seven César Award nominations for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor.
