## Biography

Lance Samuels is a South African film and television producer. He entered the industry in 1991 and worked as an assistant director on numerous international productions shot in South Africa before moving into development and producing roles.

In 2002 he founded Out of Africa Entertainment, which was acquired by Blue Ice Pictures around 2010; Samuels subsequently became president of the company. He served as producer on the 2008 miniseries *The Devil's Whore* and line producer on *Generation Kill* (2008). Other credits include producer on the feature *The Bang Bang Club* (2011) and executive producer on series including *Strike Back* (2010), *Ginny & Georgia* (2021) and *Spinning Out* (2020).
