Larry Block (born Lawrence Joel Block) was an American stage, film, television and radio actor. He was born in New York City on 30 October 1942 and died there on 7 October 2012.

Block graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island in 1964. His film roles include the Peterboro Referee in *Slap Shot* (1977), Peters in *Heaven Can Wait* (1978), the Taxi Driver in *After Hours* (1985), the Bar Owner in *Cocktail* (1988) and Man in Restaurant in *Big Night* (1996). He appeared on *Sesame Street* and made frequent contributions to Joe Frank's radio programmes. Block also worked extensively in theatre.
