## Biography

Larry DiTillio was an American television and film writer. He studied film at New York University for four years and at UCLA for two years before entering the industry.

DiTillio wrote seventeen episodes of the original *He-Man and the Masters of the Universe* (1983–85) and co-created *She-Ra: Princess of Power* (1985) with J. Michael Straczynski, for whom he also developed the show bible. He later served as executive story editor on *Babylon 5* (1994–95), writing seven episodes, and as story editor on *Beast Wars: Transformers* (1996–99). His other credits include episodes of *Murder, She Wrote* (1984), *The Real Ghostbusters* (1986) and *Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future* (1987).

DiTillio also wrote for tabletop role-playing games, notably the Origins Award-winning *Masks of Nyarlathotep* (1984) for *Call of Cthulhu*. He died on 16 March 2019.
