## Biography

Larry Gross is an American screenwriter and producer. He received a writing credit on the film *48 Hrs.* (1982) and collaborated with director Walter Hill on *Streets of Fire* (1984) and *Another 48 Hrs.* (1990). His other screenwriting credits include *Geronimo: An American Legend* (1993), *True Crime* (1999) and *We Don't Live Here Anymore* (2004).

Gross won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival for *We Don't Live Here Anymore*. He has also written for films such as *Prozac Nation* (2001) and *Veronika Decides to Die* (2009), and served as a producer on several projects. He attended Bard College, from which he graduated in 1974, and holds master's degrees from Columbia University and New York University. He is a visiting professor of film and new media at New York University Abu Dhabi.
