Larry S. Wells was a costume designer. His film credits include *Porky's* (1981), *Strange Brew* (1983), *Police Academy* (1984, wardrobe), *3 Men and a Baby* (1987), *Short Circuit 2* (1988) and *Bingo* (1991). He worked as a costume assistant on *Meatballs* (1979).

Wells served as costume designer on the television series *The X-Files* (1993) for 50 episodes from 1993 to 1995. He died in 1995; the season three premiere episode "The Blessing Way" was dedicated to his memory.
