## Biography

Rickard Wirén is a Swedish production designer and prop master. Born Lars Rickard Wirén on 1 July 1969 in Simrishamn, he began working in set design while involved in student theatre in Lund, including Jesperspexet and the 1994 carnival film *Angst*.

He has collaborated frequently with Anders Jansson and Johan Wester on the comedy series *Hipp Hipp!*, for which he served as production designer and prop master on stage shows and the 2006 Christmas special *Itzhaks julevangelium*. Wirén worked as a prop master and set dresser on several *Wallander* films from 2005 and as standby art director on the *Arn* films (2007–2008). He contributed to production design on the Swedish-Danish series *The Bridge* (2011), including episodes in later seasons, and has designed for reality series such as *Expedition Robinson*.
