He was born on 25 June 1947 in Kecskemét. He is known for his role as Schmidt in Béla Tarr’s *Satantango* (1994). feLugossy has appeared in other Tarr films, including as the Housepainter in *Werckmeister Harmonies* (2000) and in *The Man from London* (2007). A self-taught multidisciplinary artist, he was a founder of the Vajda Lajos Studio in Szentendre in 1972 and served as singer and lyricist for the band A. E. Bizottság from 1979 to 1986.
