Laura McCreary is an American television writer and producer. She was born on 22 April 1972 in Houston, Texas.

She began her career writing for animated series including *Kim Possible* (2002), *As Told by Ginger* (2000) and *American Dragon: Jake Long* (2005). McCreary later worked on *American Dad!* (2005) as a writer and producer. She served as co-executive producer and writer on *Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23* (2012–2013), consulting producer and co-executive producer on *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* (2013–2016), where she wrote eight episodes, executive producer on *Fresh Off the Boat* (2016–2019) and co-executive producer on *Superstore* (2019–2021) and *Young Rock* (2021–2023). She received Emmy nominations for her work on *Angela Anaconda* and *American Dad!*.
