## Biography

Laura Mora Ortega, also credited as Laura Mora, is a Colombian director and screenwriter. She was born in Medellín in 1981 and studied film production and directing at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

She directed the feature films *Killing Jesus* (2017) and *The Kings of the World* (2022), the latter of which won the Golden Shell at the 70th San Sebastián International Film Festival. Mora has also directed episodes of television series including *Pablo Escobar: The Drug Lord* (2012) and *Green Frontier* (2019), and co-directed the Netflix adaptation *One Hundred Years of Solitude* (2024).
